Hellooo everyone.
My nation is in the process of a medal distribution program, along with certificates and other assorted awards overdue to be given to some citizens. Does anyone know of a good custom medal company?

Hmmm... We have never actually done this ourselves, other than doing it virtually, so i couldn't really recommend anyone.
I guess it'd be quite an expensive process though. I will have a look see if i can spot anything that looks promising.

Yeah we figured it might be a bit expensive, so we're thinking of only getting the most important medals professionally made (e.g Order of A1) and getting 'less important' medals, such as military service medals, made by our citizens will metallurgy experience. We already have a prototype, and it's looking good! Also, for the more important ones, we were thinking of getting a very small payment from the recipients to help offset the expense (i.e $2-3).

Hmmm.. yes, you need to try and keep the costs down. What most MN's seem to do is just create graphical ones on the computer and send them virtually, i know its no-where near as effect but it saves a hell of a lot of money!

Well we just had our first election (incumbent party won by 71%! ) and we also acquired some more active and serious citizens. Our new deputy chairman suggested that a quarterly tax of $1 AUD be imposed so that A1 may slowly build up funding for such projects, and also A1 'National Unity' events. The medals project will be a part of this, but only the future (i.e it's been put on hold). This was recommended by the Ministry of Interior last month.

Well...that's up to our Treasury, but we'll be expecting something like a database of all citizens and mark those who have been granted special exemption (like overseas people) and who has or hasn't paid.

I don't think we'll use online methods - our citizens, however active, seem very resistant to "unnecessary" online procedures. Our Ministry for Communications is of course trying fix this, but it seems that 'real life' payments will be better and more practical.

Yes, i seem to find that too. People seem a bit apprehensive when it comes to buying things online.
