I would like you, the Mayor of New Teesside to give a detailed Description of your city, including climate, culture, landmarks, what it looks like etc., everything to do with your City! You could use my description of Rex Leonia in Tellia as an example: telliaforums.proboards45.com/index.cgi?board=rex&action=display&thread=1204463907This will tie in with Culture and help it grow Massively and Give each City there own unique Identity and Culture. We will then Make a Fact File of each City including Description History and Cities Symbols as well as many other things. Good Luck! P.S. Pictures may also be shown.

I object to this. You are just making up New Teesside. You could say it as big as Wales and ever house is painted purple. As I remember, New Teesside wasn't much more than a backyard. I feel that it's time for Bobalania to expand. Why don't we just pass legislation to expand Bobalania so that it's borders correspond to those pictured below Bailey City would be the green area, City of Bobalania would be red, Middlestock blue, Bobbrough purple and New Teesside orange. This nonsense about just making up descriptions is stupid. By expanding the border, we would have more land to describe and it would actually have landmarks like parks and even an airport. I'm not going to just make up a description for New Teesside.

Well, i do see your point with this. BUT as you probably wont know this is for simulated purposes only, to boost culture, part of our 'cyber' heritage, thats the beauty of it we can just make it up and have it however we like!
However, i think this is a great idea, to actually go with this and expand Bobalania, it will never be recognized, but what the hek! lets do it!
In real life, i live in the blue, Stockton. The Airport (known as Durham Tees Valley although it is TEESSIDE airport not Durham) is in the middle of 2 zones. We could also include our claim further along the river tees, right up to where it starts at High Force.

This is how Talossa grew. It started as King Robert's bedroom then expanded out. I think it's a good idea to do this with Bobalania. But, I wouldn't expand it too far. I think the above map is a good size.
I will not make a description for simulated purposes. If we could just push the description issue to the side for the moment and move to pass legislation, then I would be happy to describe the actually New Teesside.
What's the process for passing laws around here? Is Bobalania still so young that we could just amend what we've said to expand the country's borders? We should make it official somehow.

Yes, unfortunately we haven't got round to setting all this up properly. King Robert eh? That is my name and i claimed my room first, seems that we have a lot in common. And so Claiming the WHOLE of Teesside would be a good size? I am not sure if you are aware of this, but by looking at the map of Talossa the Map I showed for Bobalania is probably around 10-50 times bigger than Talossa.

Which map were you looking at? The map of the Republic or of the Kingdom? We (the Republic) are currently trying to pass a law that would reclaim the Northern half of the historic territory that's Talossa. I'd say claiming what is coloured on the map would be fine. You can always change the borders later and you could give each city the option to expand under Bobalanian law. Would we still call them cities? Shouldn't they be called states or provinces or districts or something?

Yes maybe States, and then cities within them. Even if you look at the whole of the republic, its only a few 'blocks' (as you 'guys' say ) big, but Teesside isn't, its quite a big part of the North-East of England.

Well it's up to you. You are kind of the head guy around here. If you think it's too big, make a new suggestion. However, the size it is right now, basically the size of your home, is too small.
You need to expand somehow, somewhere.

Yes, i agree we need to expand, and i wasn't saying that it was too big really, just that it is big. I have always 'unofficially' thought of the whole of Teesside as Bobalania.

Alright then. So what would you name the States of Bobalania? Of course New Teesside would be the Capital of whatever State this is. ;D

Well, what i was thinking was that we could change Cities to states so 5 states (5 zones on map) and then have all the cities in each state e.g. Middlesbrough is in City of Bobalania etc. etc.

So you would have a State called City of Bobalania? There rest would easily convert to States but I don't think City of Bobalania nor Bailey City would.
Maybe City of Bobalania could be in the State of Middlestock (maybe your house could be CoB)and be the federal capital. If we did that with CoB and Bailey City, we would need more state names.

Good Idea! We could do that, but theres no obstacle with creating more state names.
