Maybe we could have a similar thing to German. Have the accents on certain letters, but also have the double-letter rule for people who can't/don't know how to put the accents on them...
ie. German ä/ö/ü become ae/oe/ue Bobalanian á/é/í/ó/ú could become aa/ee/ii/oo/uu
Maybe...

Can we not have a B with an accent over it as well?

I think that complicates it but we could have a "bb" and a "bbb"

Normally accents chnage the sound of a letter, I don't know if changing the sound of a B is possible

no, thats what i thought, how would 'bb' sound different?

|
Post by Craitman Pellegrino on Feb 21, 2008 17:33:59 GMT
Maybe in the middle of a word it would. It would shorten the sound of the preceding vowel... Buba = "boo-ba" Bubba = "bub-a"

You'd probably need verb forms for phrases, but if you do what I did with Craitish and have regular verb patterns, then that shouldn't be a problem...
