One of my objectives for New Teesside is to create a unqiue culture for the city. I find that the best way to build culture is to bring in culture from abroad. I'd like to see New Teesside become a melting pot of micronational diversity. Therefore, I bring my own Talossan culture to the city. Here, www.talossaonline.com/40.183.0.html, you will find the National Cuisine of the Republic of Talossa. In addition to the above, there is also a Cezembrean recipe I'd like to include here www.talossaonline.com/1.31791.0.html. Since Cezembre is the nearest Republic province to Bobalania, I feel it's a good fit. I encourage all New Teesside residents to contribute to this growing list of foods and drinks. I will continue to search for more additions to our culture including sports and past-times. Mayor Rôibeardét

What, food wise?

Yeah, what is unique in your area. That's the best way to go, using something regional as a Bobalanian tradition.

Well, we have yet to decide on our national dish! If you would like to help then please do.

Don't think I'd be a lot of help. I don't know that much about your area.

Hmm,an English food.Looks nice. But I think that we should have our own food(as Bobalania will conquer England, as soon as I win the presidency in Ghana ).Why not make a thread for suggestions, then a poll for voting one of them? We could 'create' a national food in a week max. (Parmo could be an option too)

Parmo sounds really good! I like the the topped parmo with pepperoni. I can use the left over pepperoni from a Stubborn to make this! (which hardly ever happens ;D) If you like sandwiches, you should really try the Stubborn. You can't go wrong with that sandwich. I usually have it without horseradish and mustard. The Stubborn is like a national treasure in the Republic. I was checking out Radio Free Talossa when I came acrossed a show called "Stubborn Things". The host, Chirisch dal Navâ, talked about it in in segment two. You can still listen to some of the shows at www.talossa.tv/. Too bad that there aren't any new shows

We have just lost our radio station too! Although it will be back. So, are you going to make a Parmo?

Yeah, I'll make one. Probably not today, I don't have the stuff to make it at home. Maybe I'll get some stuff to make Stubborns for lunch and a parmo for dinner. I'll eat all of the things I've listed, except the Cezambre. That doesn't sound all that good to me. Another one I forgot to list is Fish Fry. It's a tradition for the cestours of the Republic. You eat it on Friday nights. You can go to just about any resturant in the Republic and you'll find some fish fry on Friday. You can learn more about the tradition of fish fry by going here: www.classicwisconsin.com/features/fridaynightfish.html

ah ok, you are aware that you can only get a Parmo in teesside, go 10 mile up or down the oad and they have never heard of them!
Do you have a recipe for a parmo? You probably wont be able to get the white sauce for it, so you could use the lasagne white sauce.

This is going to sound stupid but, do you eat Parmo with a knife and fork? I only ask because I've never had it before.

Yes With a Knife and fork. Yeah you should find a recipe but as have said, it is unknown everywhere apart from here so, it might be hard. There should be a couple on Parmoking website.
